Identified as one of the major MROs with Part 145 qualification in China, GAMECO (Guangzhou Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Company Ltd.) has several hangars and two conversion lines exclusively dedicated to the conversion of 767-300BCF passenger-cargo aircraft. DERICHEBOURG AERONAUTICS SERVICES China teams are once again demonstrating their expertise by being deeply involved in the completion of the first 767-300 Boeing Converted Freighter (BCF) for the customer on the GAMECO conversion line located in Guangzhou. 3 technical representatives and 1 supply chain representative monitored the aircraft conversion work and performed C-checks, and will continue to work on the completion of the next eight 767-300BCF conversion.
Launched in the mid-1980s, the B767-300 has specific features that allows it to be highly versatile in operation. In addition to its significant economic performance, it is classified in the category of jumbo jets (wide-body aircraft), which can carry more than 51 tons of goods. With more than 100 orders announced, Boeing plans to convert nearly 1,800 aircraft over the next 20 years.
